Being a Unicorn isn’t always easy.

“They won’t understand.

They won’t accept me.

They won’t listen.

They will forbid me.

They will punish me.

They will cast me out.”

Maybe it is safer to stay quietly at the edge.

To be small.

Invisible.

Just like “everyone else.”

To be what is expected.

What is needed.

Convenient.

Easy.

Quiet.

That way, perhaps the Unicorn can feel protected — untouched, unhurt, pure.

But is that really how it is?

Is the Unicorn Free?

Happy?

Real?

Is the Unicorn Alive?

Or is it trying to live someone else’s story through the glittering mask of the “perfect girl” it has been given?

The Unicorn is sad.

Quiet.

Lonely.

And still, deep inside, it waits…

Waiting for that magical moment when it can finally be Free.
